This was an interesting article. I found it particularly insightful that low interest rates help people who are looking to take on more credit but hurts people that are on fixed incomes and are living on savings as their earned interest rate is very minimal. With baby boomers coming into retirement faster and faster with many of them on a fixed income, how will this affect circulation of money in our economy when the demographic that is the highest contributors, are now retiring and living on minimal savings?

It helps recovery because businesses that are looking to grow can get some short term credit at a low rate in order to help grow their business thereby creating jobs which then increases your tax base.
