Munchkin Baby Food Mill?

I make a lot of my own baby food and usually use a blender, but I wondered if this is worth $10 at Target. It seems like a great deal. If you have used it, do you like it? And do you usually cook foods like pears, apples, etc first?

I have one made by a different company... Kid Co I believe and I love it.
