Is generic brand baby formula just as healthy for a baby as the name brands?

Right now we use Nestle Good Start Supreme (powder kind) and it's $22 a can. I saw at Walmart a brand called Parent's Choice for half. If I bought this would my baby still be getting the same nutrients?

Actually, the brands are not that different. Baby formula is tightly controlled, and monitored, by the feds. And the standards are very high. The brands have different little nuances, but they all meet the high minimum standards.

If your baby tolerates the change, there is no need to spend more money on a name-brand. As long as the baby takes to it, there are no troubles, and things seem hunky-dory, use the most cost-effective brand.
