Baby leg bruised in sling?
I was out for the morning, and had my 4mo. old in a ring sling for about an hour. I had her in a sitting position - her bottom at my hip, legs across my stomach, and my arm around her back (I don't remember if her feet where in or out of the sling). When I got home I noticed a strange band of little (smaller than finger tip) bruises around her ankle. Could these be from the sling? She seemed really comfortable, and even fell asleep in the sling, so I don't know what to think.
I think you're right, probably the position she was in. Babies don't seem to mind odd positions when they're sleeping. Take notice of where her legs are next time and see if you get a similar reaction. Nothing to worry about just keep your eye on the marks in case it is from something different. Sounds like a beautiful way for her to sleep!
