Anyone else on bed rest?

Just looking for others stuck in the hospital like me on bed rest at 29 weeks. Was admitted for blood flow issues in the cord, but now my blood pressure is through the roof. Baby has had some decelerations in heart rate but they all returned to normal. She's had two additional biophysical dopplers which she passed scoring 8 out of 8. But I am still stuck in the hospital (on the labor and delivery floor) until I deliver. I'm trying my best not to get down, but hate being away from my family! I have my boyfriend, nephew and cat at home without me I was in tears when my boyfriend left tonight. I want him to stay but he is teacher and has to work. He would not get any rest with the constant interruptions by nursing staff throughout the night.

awwww im sorry to hear that you are on bed rest I was put on bed rest during my pregnancy as well but I was at home and it was for 5 months...it was long and boring and scary! I mean I didnt know what was going on with my baby so I just sat there and thought ALL the time. They say not to stress out when you are pregnant but its a stressful time!!
What got me through was just thinkingi about my baby...knowing that the bed rest was what was best for HIM and I was going to do anything in my power to make sure he arrived full term and healthy You are already a great mother for doing this for your unborn child...you are sticking it out even though you arent happy with the situation. Just keep thinking that...its for your beaufiul baby and you ARE a great mother, keep it up! ya it will feel like the longest months of your life but it's all worth it in the end
