making daughters baby food with our dinner help?
she is 8months old and eats stage 2 foods but i add oatmeal to it to make it thicker like stage 3 and she has also had stage 3 foods. she like all the graduates foods. for dinner i am making chicken i will just bake it with nothing added to it and then some plain rice and then we have some frozen corn mixed with black beans green chilies and bell peppers so i would like to know how do i make her food. i only have a blender. do i mix them all together? i just really dont know and with the veggies i was going to take the chilies out but should i take out the bell peppers? any extra advice would be so much appreciated thank you
Maybe you could start letting her try handling real food. Cut the chicken into strips for her so she can hold it on her own and just let her have at it while you watch. Bell peppers are probably fine, they are mostly sweet anyway, not really spicy. As long as they are soft enough for her. We started our son on table food like this at 6 months and he did great, even with no teeth. We went the route of Baby Led Weaning (very awesome you should google it a bit
I would think by 8 months they could do a little exploring of food on their own. It's fun and they usually enjoy it quite a bit
Now is the time anyway, food is fun before one (they get most of what they need from breastmilk or formula) so she can get a good start on learning to eat before she is one.
Otherwise, I have no idea as I never did that stuff... Good luck!
