I will be traveling in a car from texas to washington...with a baby...ideas...?? 10 POINTS! Really need help!?
I will be traveling in a car from texas to washington this summer and my baby will be about 8 months when we move. I am not sure how to move with a baby especially how to keep her formula cold because it will take a good 3-5 days since I also have two cats with me. How can I keep the formula cold in the car? Do they make tiny formula holders for this kind of situation maybe? I know they have car bottle warmers. Also, how will i keep baby food good?thanks.
I would get a little cooler to keep your bottles for the day and any leftover food in.
Buy powdered formula and only mix about what you think you are going to need for the day so you won't have to much left over. Or you could spend money on premeasured packets or pre measure it out right into bottles yourself and then whenever it is time to give the baby a bottle just pour the water in and warm it up. Get bottled water so that it is easier to carry in the car.
So you could bring the four or five bottles and just keep the powder in that or they do make special formula dispensers but I don't think it is really necessary.
Get jars of food because they don't have to be kept refrigerated if they haven't been opened so then you only have to worry about what he doesn't finish at his meal.
